Project Description
Project description:
For some companies social responsibility is a completely foreign concept, others use it as PR on the rare occasions they organize such campaigns, there are also those who have the best of intentions but budgets and other limitations don’t let them follow-up on those good intentions and so on. But there are also companies that make out of CSR a constant endeavor, an ongoing task, a mission itself, and we are proud to have met the people behind such a company and, furthermore, for being given the opportunity to capture on video the complexity of their work.
It wasn’t easy, especially since MEC Holding encapsulates more companies, all of them big, all of them extremely active, all of the genuine performers on their market segments and all very different from one another. If we were to talk only about numbers (118 years of history, more than 2900 employees and coverage over 36 countries), we’d only capture the scale and almost none of the essence.
The core, fueled by innovation, technology and a perspective that is always focused on the future, we believe we managed to capture in this video, here. These roughly four minutes of video we got in the end distilled out of many hours of work, starting with research, establishing a concept and ending with actual filming (studio work, using a green screen, and on site, to capture what is really happening behind the brand) and editing. We got what we set out to achieve: a corporate video, but without the dull factor, without too much of the technical stuff, and at the same time not lacking emotion, informative but without it being boring. We told a story as complex as they come about a present fed by healthy historical principles and guided by the desire of reshaping the future in a positive way.
