The National Day of every country is, and should be, an important event, celebrated everywhere, including on Facebook. In fact, this social network has become a preferred channel for communication, so every serious brand talks about it (in Romania) on the 1st of December. Unfortunately, a lot of these brands choose cliches and make very little effort in adapting their message (both visually and text wise) to their very own specifics.
We tried to stay away from the excessively used symbol of the flag and we created an ethnographic cover photo. We also took advantage of doing this for a brand with strong colors, naturally used in Romanian folklore, but we didn’t just add bits of popular design – we actually shaped the name of the brand in the appropriate format of a Romanian craft.
