3D video rendering housing socket case

A socket doesn’t sound like a big deal, right? But when we are the ones in charge of 3D modeling it, the results can be pretty… shocking. Puns intended.

Sure, maybe it doesn’t sound like the most alluring challenge, but it is exactly because the first impulse makes it seem bland that we will always enjoy the process of searching the unique elements that could highlight such a piece.

Here we captured the daring curves of the cover, we discovered a certain richness in the colors and we focused on the small distinctive details of the design. Beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder and we sure noticed it in a socket, especially since we had the opportunity to build it point by point, pixel by pixel.
