Motion graphics video teaser animation “Coming soon” – Freelo Romania 3DArtStudio
How much work would you say hides behind a 16 seconds long video? Plenty, but who’s counting when you’re excited about what you’re doing?
But don’t be fooled! The famous “less is more” is perfectly applicable for the ratio between a distilled message and the effort put into the compression process. And when the message is supposed to be unclear (this being the main goal of a good teaser) it’s obvious that the task is quite the challenge!
So first of all you establish how much you plan to say, without saying too much. Is that clear? It has to be enough as to arise curiosity, but just enough so that your audience starts wanting more. And take our word for it – the ideal ratio is really hard to find; but we have to admit that the process is a fun ride.
Secondly, how do you say what you plan to say? A teaser has to tease all the way, so the actual form should be provocative, with an intense pulse and a game of clear and hazy. Also, a brand such as Freelo needs to be abstract all the way – both in shape (preferably geometric) and content – with a technological feel and a futuristic vibe.
And definitely not least, sound needs to be in perfect harmony with the spirit of the project and the tempo carefully planned before.
If we managed to arise your curiosity, here are a couple of frames…
Just kidding. Keep scrolling. The video is around here as well 🙂
